Our origins
Founded in Barcelona, the Puig Foundation has supported cultural, educational, and social projects for decades — most of them rooted in the city itself. It collaborates with prominent institutions that reflect its core values and share a strong connection to Barcelona, the birthplace of the Puig family and the group’s companies. Guided by its values and a forward-looking vision, the Puig Foundation is committed to supporting culture and knowledge, while driving innovative initiatives that leave a positive mark on society.

Governing bodies
The Board of Trustees is the foundation’s highest governing and representative body. It is responsible for fulfilling the foundation’s mission and managing its assets and resources with diligence.
Since the founding of the Puig Foundation on January 29, 1996, until September 27, 2013, the board was composed of Mr. Marian Puig Planas, Mr. Toni Puig Planas, and Mr. Josep Maria Puig Planas. Mr. Enric Puig Planas also served as a member until his passing on September 18, 2008.
