SoReDI Chair

In today’s attention-driven digital economy, platforms are designed to capture and hold our focus, often encouraging fragmented and fleeting interactions at the expense of deeper, more meaningful connections. This dynamic shapes how children and adolescents relate to one another and, in some cases, prioritizes constant connectivity over real-world social bonds.

New models for the digital industry

Guided by the belief that the digital future can be reshaped, Exea Impact, together with Esade, co-leads the Socially Responsible Digital Innovation Chair (SoReDI), aiming to explore, imagine, and co-create new ways of engaging with technology.

The Chair combines applied research, communities of practice, and knowledge transfer to industry through the SoReDI Lab, a co-creation space connecting businesses, academia, public administration, and the third sector to develop, test, and evaluate solutions with positive social impact.

The Chair focuses on:

• Promoting best practices and fostering an environment of responsible, meaningful digital innovation.

• Defining indicators for the key factors in persuasive digital design, while identifying barriers and prosocial business opportunities.

• Contributing to reference standards by transferring scientific knowledge for adoption by the digital sector.
