On July 23, 2025, the Eurostars Grand Marina Hotel hosted the meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Princess of Girona Foundation, presided over by His Majesty the King. During the session, Sara Puig Alsina was officially appointed as the new representative of Exea Impact on the Board of Trustees, succeeding Marian Puig Guasch, who has represented the foundation linked to the Puig family in recent years. His Majesty the King personally acknowledged and thanked Marian Puig Guasch for her dedication and valuable contribution. This transition highlights Exea Impact’s firm and ongoing commitment to the Princess of Girona Foundation.

The day was especially significant as, in addition to the Board meeting, the Princess of Girona Awards 2025 ceremony was held. The event, presided over by Their Majesties the King and Queen and attended by Their Royal Highnesses the Princess of Asturias and of Girona and the Infanta Sofía, took place at the iconic Grand Opera House.
